Those are WAY better than those damn starlight mints! The wait gets long and in the winter, you basically have to just stand outside or wait in your car. It's cute that they bring York Peppermint Patties with the bill. The only appetizers they have are two salads and I believe pepper shooters. You should come here if you are only looking for salad, pizza and maybe a dessert. Chicago style with sweet peppers and mushrooms. My Dad says he likes it because the tomato sauce is so good. It just didn't look like enough cheese to me. Original tomato pie: I did not even try this one. Not my favorite tomatoes on a margharita pizza but still so good. I would prefer big leaves of basil to the little crinkly kind. The middle does tend to get soggy and difficult to eat. They cut it into square pieces vs standard triangles which makes it difficult to eat the long, rectangular pieces. The pizza is thin crust so you (or I at least) can eat copious amounts of it. I wish I said no sesame seeds because they were extremely noticeable and I don't like them. It intrigued me that it had pecans in it but I don't like Caesar dressing. I got a house salad and my fam shared a Caesar salad. It always boggles my mind when establishments don't have fountain soda. It didn't bother me because I hate being hot but cold people.beware! There is a back room that I believe is a lot warmer because the door isn't close by. I'm never cold and I was cold enough to put my scarf back on. A gentleman greeted us as soon as we walked in and sat us at a table in the front by the window. I was impressed that it wasn't hotter inside even though the kitchen and oven are basically smack, dab in the middle of the restaurant and out in the open. It's kind of like going to a family dinner and everyone is hanging out at different tables in the house. I like the eccentric decorations on the inside. They do have an ATM machine on the premises. Right off the bat you should know that it is BYOB and it is cash only. Pizza is a personal thing, so if you like thin crust and handmade toppings in a casual non-chain environment, then put this one on your list.įirst timer! My Dad raves about this place and I finally got to check it out. Overall, I give it high marks for food and service. We wanted to try the buffalo chicken version but the pies are very big, so that's for next trip. Our party felt that there was a bit too much cheese, but if you like it that way then you'll be happy. We also tried the white pie which was garlic, oil and cheese. The original is tomato based with minimal cheese and a hint of pepper. The thin crust pizza is crispy and tasty (but could use a hint more salt in the dough or more flavor development). There is also a Caesar salad if you prefer that. The salads are good sized and feature a sesame seed based balsamic vinegar dressing that are very tasty and not to be passed on. But this series/season was already so good and thought through that I really bought the tragedy - which does not happen often.A family owned byob that serves thin crust pizza. Of course, tragic finals oftentimes let us hope for a sequel that leads to a happy end or at least a resolution. Our 12 pizzas feed one person and our 18 pizzas feed two hungry people. It is definitely worth watching and could even do without the next season. ![]() Some consider Sagrada Familia to be some kind of soap opera - yes, it is dramatic and tragic - but in this case imho it is far from cheesy or too stereotypical. I love the scenes where Aitana is playing piano and singing, and the soundtrack in general with many piano themes. Most of the time, I hate it when protagonists sing/perform songs in series - but here it really fits. What I especially enjoyed: The theme(s) of music effortlessly blend into the plot. Great and strong actors, impressive characterization of the protagonists, interesting plot and side plots. A fascinating and thrilling approach to the motif of motherhood including its different aspects, even misconceptions, and the consequences. ![]()
